Welcome to the Perry Removals of Chelmsford website. This website has been designed to help you through the process of moving home with information not only on the removal itself but on other pre and post removal day issues.
Perry Removals has seen Chelmsford grow over the last 50 years. Chelmsford is the county town of Essex and is 35 miles north east of London. It straddles the River Chelmer and has a population of around 105,000. It also has an interesting history as in 1516 the famous Henry VIII bought the Boleyn Estate of Chelmsford and built Beaulieu Palace on the site that is now New Hall School. His mistress Anne Boleyn lived there before later becoming his wife.
The modern day Chelmsford is known as “The Birthplace of Radio” since Marconi built his first factory in the city. The city offers excellent shopping facilities with most of the big high street chain stores. In the 1980's the development of Chelmer Village expanded the population and along with Beaulieu Park and Chancellor Park contributed to Chelmsford being voted 8th best place to live in England by a Channel 4 programme. Perry Removals have carried out many residential moves both into and from the Chelmer area, and office moves from most of the commercial areas of the city.
